Usability Is Key.

I was responsible for improving website usability and online user experiences for hospitals, physician practices, medical device makers, pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare companies. The process included evaluating the website’s current state, creating high fidelity wireframes and designing responsive design mockups. This case study will focus on the SigmaCare website redesign.

After analyzing existing website usage, we were able to identify trends in user behaviors by tracking mouse activity through the site to discover where visitors were clicking and where they were having trouble finding the information needed to provide a more user-friendly experience.

After our findings, we decided on a complete overhaul of SigmaCare’s website due to the outdated user experience. To understand the needs of the user moving forward, we carried out an audit of the old website, conducted screen recordings of users and several meetings with SigmaCare shareholders.
